The Utah Shock look to return most of their core from 2017, plus a bunch of new faces. After a one point loss to the eventual champions, the Shock look to once again try to not be the "odd-man" out. Having been in the race for the majority of the years only to fall short in June is the constant story for the Shock.

Will 2017 be the year that the Shock can break the "Status Quo" curse? It's been close to 7 years since the Shock last played in a meaningful championship game in the RMFL, can they overcome the beast known as the REV? Only time will tell.
