The Mustangs found their way to Daylis Stadium; unfortunately for them they had bus issues and were late getting to the field.  After an hour and 15 minute delay the game finally started.

The Xtreme were able to score 17 points in the first quarter and eventually would cruise to a 24-14 victory.  "We had marked our calendars for this games as soon as the schedule was released,” said Xtreme head coach Ken Blankenship.  “We lost to them last year at their place and were excited to be able to host them this year.  The Mustangs are a class act organization and we really enjoy our games against them.  Both teams respect the game and the players and we have always had great games against each other.”

Tusi Ah-Mai played QB for the Xtreme.  He completed 12-of-17 passes for 173 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Ah-Mai also ran 15 yards on 3 carries and a touchdown.  Victor Nelson caught 4 passes for 34 yards and a touchdown; Richard Treiber played in his first game of the season and hauled in 4 catches for 77 yards and a touchdown.  Ryan Frank also contributed with 3 catches for 44 yards.  Dedrick Bergen led the Xtreme rushing attack with 38 yards on 11 carries.

Tevin Scaggs was the leader of the Xtreme defense with 5.5 tackles and 2 sacks.  Ah-Mai also played in his regular defensive position, where he would produce 3 tackles, half a sack, and a forced fumble.  The Xtreme also had three interceptions from three different players, including Richard Treiber, Victor Nelson, and Stephen Goodell.

Mustang QB Zac Turnage completed 6-of-17 pass attempts for 144 yards and a touchdown.  Turnage also scored on the ground for the Mustangs and rushed for a total of 43 yards on 8 carries.  WR David Pasquella caught 3 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown, and Austin Turnage caught 2 passes for 21 yards.  Cory Astin led the Mustang backfield with 64 rushing yards on 17 carries.

Defensively, it was a group effort with 3 players tied as the tackle leader with 8.5 tackles, which include Taggart Anderson, Blake Walker, and Austin Turnage.  David Pasquella also contributed on defense with 7.5 tackles.  The Mustangs defense forced three interceptions, two from Colton Johnson and one from Taggart Anderson.

This week, the Idaho Mustangs have a bye week before they host the Blackfoot Anarchy on May 14th in Idaho Falls, ID.  The Billings Xtreme will travel to Great Falls, MT to face the undefeated Gladiators.
