The Monster traveled to Billings with 19 players Saturday to face the Xtreme.  The Xtreme were also short-handed, only suiting up 27 of their own as they rested a few starters in order to prepare for the playoffs.  That opened the door for some of their rookies to make plays and get extra reps.

Back-up QB DJ Bergen led the way on offense completing 12 of 23 for 243 yards, throwing 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions, while also rushing for a touchdown.  On the receiving end of 3 of those touchdown passes was receiver Jordan Tallon, who finished the day with 5 catches for 140 yards as well.  WR Ryan Frank would leave the game early to preserve himself for the playoffs, but not before hauling in a 24-yard touchdown catch.

The Xtreme would find their way into the endzone a couple more times on a 28-yard run by Wendall Nelson and a fumble recovery for 48 yards by defensive lineman Tres Hunts His Enemy.

Not to be outdone, the Xtreme defense would create 5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 2 recoveries, and an interception.  LB Levi Evjene ended the day with 2 tackles and 2 sacks while Tevin Skaggs would end the day with 4 tackles and a sack to round out the defense.  DB Antione Jones would add an interception.

The score at halftime would be 35-0, and the entire second half would feature a running clock.

Following the league-wide bye week in observance of Memorial Day, the Billings Xtreme will host the Big Sky Avalanche at Daylis Stadium and the Flathead Monsters will host the Great Falls Gladiators in Columbia Falls, Montana for the season finale on June 4th.
