The rain looked like it would be a factor for the game but was pushed away by the winds that would create most of the issues in regards to the weather.  It was a low scoring game with the Stampede passing the ball to several different receivers, but the Anarchy defense was stubborn and kept the Stampede out of the end zone. 

 

The Anarchy ran the ball with success but the Stampede didn't allow the Anarchy to enter the redzone all game.  The only score of the game was in the second quarter with Anarchy QB Cody Kirsch hooking up with WR Dexter Gunter for a 45 yard touchdown reception, followed by Gunter’s extra point.

 

Logan QB Brady Zimmerman was pressured by the Anarchy defense and completed just 8-of-26 pass attempts for 102 yards and 4 interceptions.  Jesse Yarger led the receiving corps with 7 catches for 67 yards and Brady Wootton led the rushing efforts with 15 yards on 6 carries.

 

Jake Green was the defensive leaders for the Stampede with 9 tackles.  Dan Augustus and Andrew Espinoza had 8 tackles apiece.  AJ Sanchez intercepted 2 passes as well.

 

Blackfoot WR Dexter Gunter caught 2 passes for 53 yards and the only score of the game.  The Anarchy backfield was busy, as the four ball carriers combined for 118 rushing yards.  Wes Howard led the rushing efforts with 42 yards on 5 carries followed by Kerick May with 35 yards on 15 carries.

 

Kyle Scott was the defensive leader for the Anarchy with 5 tackles followed by four players with 4 tackles including Jordyn Nebeker and Treyton Palmer.

 

This week, the Blackfoot Anarchy will travel to Great Falls, MT to face the undefeated Gladiators at Memorial Stadium at 7pm. The Logan Stampede will host the Big Sky Avalanche at Sky View High School at 7pm.
